About ANGLED C14 C13 Power Cords

Angled power cords are helpful in scenarios where the PDU is mounted vertically on the rack. Have an angled plug in these situations decreases the chance that someone walking by will accidentally hit the plug and remove it from the PDU, also in tight installations a standard connector/plug will not fit. We offer both left angled and right angled applications to best suite your needs. We also offer a variety of standard lengths ranging from 1' to 15'. We offer Angled C14/C13 cords in "Light Duty" 18AWG and "Heavy Duty" 14AWG. Standard color is black.

About ANGLED C14 C13 Power Cords

ANGLED IEC 60320 C14 C13 Power Cords are typically used when space behind your device is limited, such as in a server rack/cabinet, in a data center, or in a network closet. However, these can also be used for convenience when connecting a computer, monitor, server, routers, switches etc.

Typical Applications of Angled C14 to C13 Power Cords

Angled C14 to C13 cords are commonly used when the PDU is mounted facing outward into the aisle, and a straight version would have the cord set hanging into the aisle. This can cause serious issues when technicians are walking down the aisle as they are highly likely to accidentally snag the power cord and disconnect it from the PDU. Angled Cords solve this problem by allowing the cord set to come of the PDU and immediately travel inward toward the center of the rack, ensuring the disconnects are less likely.
