About IEC 60320 C14 C13 Power Cords | Data Center Cords

The IEC C13 to C14 is an extension power cable, designed to extend the power from a supply source to a desired location. The Plug and Connector are identical configurations, which defines this as an IEC Extension cable. The IEC 320 C13 Power Outlet is the power source this cable draws power from. It is commonly found in data centers, IT cabinets, or anywhere that an IEC 60320 Power Distribution Unit is used. The IEC 60320 C14 Equipment Inlet is the power connection point that this cable would connect to, and supply power to the equipment. It is found on electrical devices around the world and is the most common power inlet for devices requiring 10 to 20 Amperes of power.
