About Black NACC Power Whip NEMA 5-20P to Open Ended 2" ROJ 1/4" Strip 20A 125V

5-20P to OPEN Power Supply Cords (pigtail power cables) according to NEMA standards. Standard rating is 20 amps 125 volts (20A 125V). Nema 5-20P cord mates with a Nema 5-20R outlet (receptacle or connector). The OPEN end typically is hard-wired to equipment, but will also allow mounting specialty connectors. Standard molded lengths available. Custom low volume quick turn around assembled versions available. Standard color is black. Other colors are available (white, gray, blue, green, red, yellow, orange).

    The NEMA 5-20P is a 3 Wire grounded plug featuring two blades and one ground pin rated up to 125V AC and 20 Amps. The NEMA 5-20P is used in applications that require higher power draw such as large refrigerators, space heaters,large kitchen mixers, etc. The 5-20R T-SLot receptacle allows you to plug in either a 5-20P or a 5-15P plug, allowing greater flexibility. In modern home installations, 5-20R T-Slot receptacles are often used when 20A circuits are installed due to flexibility of being downward compatable with the 5-15P.
