About Unshielded CAT5e Gray Ethernet Crossover Patch Cable RJ45 to RJ45
CAT or Category 5E "enhanced" Ethernet Cable is rated for 1Gb/s at 100m with a Bandwidth of 100Mhz. The CAT 5E design significantly improved the speed of its predecessor "CAT 5" by improved design in twisting of the internal wires, and reducing of cross talk between the wires. This Category of Ethernet cables is our cost saver series, and is recommended for basic consumer connection from wall outlets to laptop/computer hookups. This is because it can easily be replaced, and unless you require 10Gb/s speeds or are connecting over long distances, this is the ethernet cable for you.
