Definition of right angle: when looking at the C13 plugged into the equipment and the ground pin at 12:00, the cord will go to the right (3:00 position). The NEMA 5-15P (male) mates with a NEMA 5-15R (female - standard wall outlet). The C13 (female) mates with a C14 equipment inlet (male).
SVT cordage is thinner (smaller diameter) than SJT cordage and is commonly known as vacuum cord. 18awg-3c SVT has a nominal diameter of 0.245 inch and a nominal insulation thickness of 0.015 inch. Nominal voltage rating of SVT is 300V.
