About Europe Schuko CEE7/7 RCD (GFCI) Extension Cords

CEE7/3 is a female socket, round in shape, 17.5 mm deep, two symmetrical round apertures and two earthing clips

CEE7/4 known as Schuko (from Schutzkontakt) is a male plug (aka type F) which has two round pins (line and neutral: each 4.8 mm diameter and 19 mm long) and spaced 19 mm apart. Two flat areas (top and bottom sides) for the ground. This design has been replaced by CEE7/7.

CEE7/7 also known as Schuko is the same as CEE7/4 except for the addition of a female ground which accepts the male ground pin of a type E socket
