About High Density PDU IEC 60320 P-Lite Power Cables | Low Profile Locking Power Plug
The P-Lite plug head was created in response to the advent of smaller and smaller Power Distribution Units as Data Center Engineers aim to conserve more and more space in their Data Racks. When a Power Supply or Power Distribution Unit is crowded with plugs inserted into it, it can be very difficult to safely disconnect one of them which is why the P-Lite was created. This plug head features the P-Lock locking tab on one side, and a recessed plug head on the other in other to allow fingers to ergonomically fit into the space to dis-engage the lock.
