About A-Lock Power Cords - NEMA + IEC

The IEC 60320 A-Lock Power cables feature a universal locking connector, and a standard configuration plug type. The A-Lock is useful for securely mating an electrical appliance or equipment to the power cable. The lock is engaged by mating the connector to the matching inlet, and can be disengaged by pulling back on the red tabs on either side of the connector head. This will disengage the internal pinching mechanism that squeeze the inlets exposed pins in the connector body. The locking feature is available on most IEC 60320 connector types.
